CPqMAE
The Research Center on Advanced Materials and Energy– CPqMAE is a Multidisciplinary Unit making part of the structure of the Center of Exact Science and Technology (CCET). CPqMAE was built with finantial support given by PETROBRAS, based on the legal obligation to invest in Research & Development 1% of its gross revenue.
The execution of the architectural and engineering projects began in 2010 and was finished in 2015. The complex research structures and installed equipment allow the development of science, technology and innovations, extensively including diverse materials and energy areas.
The laboratories are used by professors, students and researchers belonging to CCET departments: Chemistry (DQ), Materials Engineering (DEMa) and Chemical Engineering (DEQ).
